Grŵp Deddf is a partnership group between the Welsh language officers of South-East Wales. Originally formed in the late 1990s as the Greater Gwent Welsh Language Group between the 5 local authorities in the area, it has grown and expanded over time to include other local authority partners and the Mentrau Iaith in the Cardiff Capital region, and often arranges regional conferences and sharing of best practice with colleagues from the health, police and fire and rescue services.

 

The South-East Wales Regional Welsh-medium Education Promotion Champion is the group’s most ambitious project to date and could not have been achieved without the support of the Welsh Government. You can read about that role and the related projects here.
